Ignorance

·         To ignorance (consciously/willingly) is the result of lack of knowledge.

·         Knowledge cannot be taught it has to experience willingly and consciously.

·         Ignorance is the state of not knowing or facing the truth about you.

·         Ignorance lead to suffering/unpleasant experiences.

Hostility

·         Anger and eversion, irritation.

·         Result of having wrong views or impressions about the self.

·         Contradiction of the sense of self.

·         Hostility is rooted in the fundamental  ignorance of our true nature.

·         We become angry and hostile when our true nature is contradicted.

·        Antidote – regulated pressure ( pressure and time)

·        Serenity Prayer – helps to distinguish between the avoidable and the unavoidable.

Attachment

·         Lack of comprehension (craving and lust)

·         Attachment is secondary, it is coming with.

·         We craving so much to get something or to be in a situation and then suffer for it.

·         We ignore the laws of nature and life circles.

·         What we have to fear is suffering which we create every day by our own actions and thought processes.

·         Attachment to money, social status, fame and materialism…for what?

Antidote – Acceptance: to realize the nature of truth which is impermanent, transform the way you view the object of attachment.

Pride

·          Pride is the chief obstacle to spiritual development.

·         Pride is to have an inflated view or false view about  self.

·         Two sistres: Greed – hoarding or wasting resources.                                                                                                                                                                                                                            Laziness – defect of consciousness to self, someone who does not pay attension to themselves.

·         Pride keeps us busy nourishing our egos (the I) and ignoring our spiritual nature.

·         When a person feels proud because of his social status/Position such pride exist within him has its basis in ignorance – mental matter. This impression of money and status are nothing but external impression of the mind.

Doubt

·         This applies to having doubt about our being or God.

·         We might  have enough spiritual longing to solve riddle in our – who or what is God.

·         Doubt is in our action while we proclaim faith to GOD.

·         Doubt is not dispelled by proclaiming faith.

·         Meditate upon the path – Love God with all your heart…

Wrong View

·         This includes a wide variety of concepts, theories and behaviours related to religion.

·         The right view is the full embodiment until we get it.

·         Wrong view include the views about this affliction.

·         If I just follow the religion I will be saved.

Reflection

1.      Parenthood is a day to day, moment to moment nurturing of children. It is a physical, practical and spiritual exercise of influencing the development and protecting the wellbeing of children.

2.      A King that does not dwell amongst the people and not have a relationship with the people he does not deserve to called king.

3.      God is not closer to us; God is in us, with us and for us. All we need to do is to realise that, embrace it and leave it moment to moment.

Trust not your eyes cause they see man made wonders, trust not your ears cause the man has learned the language of the gods, trust not your taste cause it is with spices that man has controlled the world and trust not your nostrils cause the fumes of sweet perfumes has contaminated our lungs…

Strive to connect with the higher Spirit, know thyself and respect the self in your neighbour…
