For those who are like me, who have not being browsing the music stores for sometime and not following the latest in the music scene i would like to introduce to you IMan Kyle Shepherd!!!

Just bought his latest offering A portrait of Home, His music brought joy in my heart as it represent the LOST and the FOUND, listening to his compositions and sound in parts reminded of IMan Moses Molelekwa and the rich influences of Cape Town sounds made popular by such legends as IMan Abdullah Ibrahim with a spoon full of Zimology.

What i respect more is that IMan Kyle is that the Brother has not only managed to preserve the integrity of the musical elements of this legendary sound but through his interpretations and personalisation the I propels the musical spirit forward in a fresh and contemporary step bringing with him the whole community...

One day a king raised his son just before the sun rises and took him to a higher place(the seat of his throne) and as the first light appeared on the horizon he said to his son "look! everything that the light touches is our kingdom and one day it will be yours to rule..."
