The blood streams of Rwanda

Oh! Rwanda

Beneath the machete
I stand trembling
Under my mother's dress
I shall hide
My name, my father's name
on the book of the dead
Written by a hand of friend
a snake crushing its own eggs
Church overflowing
looking for a sign
a bloody red cross was found
god on voice message
leave a message...it said!
tongue chopped before the beep
those who leaved long to hear the beep
Did you not hear us calling...?
they asked...

One man can change the world(humanity)...

It is with great pleasure that i announce the arrival of the book on our shelve about An ordinary Man  Mr Paul Rusesabagina whom by his own account was doing what was then his occupation and his daily routine, this is one of the greatest human stories of our time. I think we still need to learn more about what really happened in those hundred day or so in Rwanda when neighbours, friends, congregations, relatives, colleagues butchered and mercilessly killed each other, i hope after reading this book i will have a better understanding of what was the source of all this hatred and subsequent killings...

It is very saddening to see how the world(Africa) took time to respond to the plight of the victims while information was circulating around the world as to what was going on...

It reminds me of a question "...who is my brother's keeper.."?
